No need, I found the cause after digging closer through the script and through my memories and following your explanation. Relevant details (how to reproduce) were there (this time). It should be fixed now by commit 55ab17930b0f2e89cf71723d51a39d4211d03ae7 . The reason I might appear unfriendly is because the last person reporting this issue basically insisted on the right to never read docs and hack whatever considered intuitive but "I DECIDE WHAT'S CALLED INTUITIVE BUT YOU MAKE THE PACKAGE SO THAT IT COMPLIES".
