It doesn't and I think the problem is that gcc/config.gcc is hard-wiring xsparc
to "v7" [1].

@Jose:

Can you tell us what method you are using in Oracle's LFS to configure gcc for
bi-arch with -multrasparc? I would now just change the value in [1] to "v9",
but I don't know whether this would be the proper solution.
