I went to download am-utils for the debian install on pine64, and noticed that the build fails for that architecture based on the notes on buildd for the am-utils package, becuase: --build aarch64-linux-gnu is not recognized. I downloaded the source tarball and built it without problems. The build script put the build in A.aarch64-unknown-linux-deb8.5, and configure says the architecture is: aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu .
