Package: dosbox Version: 0.74-4.2build1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
It's been 6 years since the latest stable release of dosbox v0.74 and there's no clue on when they'll be releasing the next one. A lot of bug fixes have been done against svn and upstream usually encourages people to install and run a nightly svn snapshot instead. To avoid using a not effectively supported upstream version of dosbox, I propose to package a given snapshot of their svn, the same way that this is done with other packages already in Debian. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers yakkety APT policy: (500, 'yakkety') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-23-generic (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_SG.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_SG.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages dosbox depends on: ii libasound2 1.1.0-1 ii libc6 2.23-0ubuntu3 ii libgcc1 1:6.1.1-4ubuntu11 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 11.2.1-1ubuntu1 ii libpng16-16 1.6.21-5 ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.8-4 ii libsdl-sound1.2 1.0.3-7build1 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15+dfsg1-4 ii libstdc++6 6.1.1-4ubuntu11 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.3-1ubuntu3 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2ubuntu5 dosbox recommends no packages. dosbox suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed
