Package: util-linux Version: 2.28-5 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? After upgrading to util-linux 2.28-5, the nfsroot machine fails to reboot or shutdown. It hangs at "nfs: server xxx not responding, still trying". If I reverted to util-linux 2.27.1-6, then no such issue. Attached please find the error messages when client failing to reboot/shutdown. If you need more info, please let me know. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-2-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages util-linux depends on: ii libblkid1 2.28-5 ii libc6 2.22-9 ii libfdisk1 2.28-5 ii libmount1 2.28-5 ii libncursesw5 6.0+20160319-1 ii libpam0g 1.1.8-3.2 ii libselinux1 2.5-3 ii libsmartcols1 2.28-5 ii libsystemd0 229-6 ii libtinfo5 6.0+20160319-1 ii libudev1 229-6 ii libuuid1 2.28-5 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 util-linux recommends no packages.
