While I do understand that this can easily be confusing... ... The (Debian!) nfs-common package is built from the nfs-utils source. We ship the upstream manpages and there is no "nfs-common" in the upstream world. Splitting nfs-utils apart in different parts is a Debian thing. Please see: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/nfs-utils Thus such a patch would not be useful upstream and maintaining it downstream is not in my interest. Potentially there's room for making the wording less confusing in a Debian context upstream, like eg. using "suite" instead of "package". Please feel free to submit a patch to upstream!
