Source: theano Version: 0.7-1~exp1 Severity: wishlist Currently tests are disabled since can take up to an hour to run. IMHO it would be ok: - pkg is arch all, so no buildbots on slow archs would suffer - it is not completely uncommon for a package to take > 1h to build - better to know about bugs/incompatibilities which could be triggered by tests before uploading
Otherwise it is kinda "too good to be true" atm that theano package backports just fine across almost all debian/ubuntu releases ;): ~/deb/builds/theano/0.7-1~exp1 % cat summary.build theano_0.7-1~exp1_amd64.build OK 2:40.52 real, 95.14 user, 18.43 sys, 926840 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd70+1_amd64.build OK 1:42.70 real, 36.24 user, 17.24 sys, 700328 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd80+1_amd64.build OK 2:31.65 real, 86.92 user, 18.24 sys, 694432 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd90+1_amd64.build OK 2:44.10 real, 97.10 user, 19.04 sys, 914528 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd+1_amd64.build OK 2:39.43 real, 94.10 user, 18.69 sys, 927808 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd12.04+1_amd64.build FAILED 0:38.92 real, 7.47 user, 6.32 sys, 139072 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd14.04+1_amd64.build OK 2:22.67 real, 87.25 user, 16.28 sys, 678648 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd15.04+1_amd64.build OK 2:10.78 real, 84.62 user, 14.46 sys, 756344 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd15.10+1_amd64.build OK 3:08.65 real, 132.34 user, 17.71 sys, 902744 out theano_0.7-1~exp1~nd16.04+1_amd64.build OK 2:26.34 real, 91.36 user, 15.98 sys, 842064 out Cheers, -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable'), (300, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
