Package: sox
Version: 14.4.1-5
Followup-For: Bug #823417

Dear Maintainer,

update #2

To add more info, I've done some more tests using output formats different from
"wav". I've first tried with sox own format ("sox"), and in that case the
problem does not appear!

Then I have tried to use "aiff", and the problem shows up again. Interestingly,
in that case sox put out a warning:

"/usr/bin/sox WARN aiff: file size too big for accurate AIFF header"

BTW: if I'm not wrong, it's the reported bitrate (=63.2M) which is not
correct... and likely from that comes the (wrong) calculated duration of the
output file.
