Hi Ben, On 05/04/2016 04:26 AM, Ben Hutchings wrote: > /bin/ls should be a symlink to busybox. Why isn't it? OK, I found apparently it's due to the hook file from klibc-utils: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/klibc-utils It copies all files from /usr/lib/klibc/bin/ to /bin/ in initramfs, and it contains the file "ls": # ls -l /usr/lib/klibc/bin/ls -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2716 Feb 11 00:38 /usr/lib/klibc/bin/ls That's why /bin/ls is not a symlink to busybox.
