Hi, I've encountered the same problem. Many pdf files of mine are rendered incorrectly with black background color. Some files are rendered with white foreground color, that is, the fonts are white and backgrounds are black. At least, these files can still be read. But other files display with total black color.
I think this may be due to recent upgrades of libpoppler. -- Hongzheng Wang
