it does not *depend* on any graphics libraries.
it's just *recommended* to recursively install them.... no worries !
I think we are missing the point with this --no-install-recommends option.
Adding the --no-install-recommends option is not ok, it's just a
workaround.
You're right, this has been anoying for many years now. But do you
really think I'm the only one who is annoyed by this ?
The fact is that nmap is fundamentally a console tool and that a normal
sysadmin is not expecting crazy recommendations from his favorite server
distro.
Hey guys, nmap can export is reports in xml/html, let's recommend the
installation of iceweasel and recursively the whole desktop environment !
This can't be serious !
I think those "recommended" chain of packages should have been be moved
to just "suggested" many years ago.
