Hello, I found a workaround long ago. It was sufficient to delete all libasound .so files from the ubuntu distribution located in .steam.
However, I have no backup to go back, and I don't know if they fixed it or if
my workaround is still in place.
I'd say that if you can play team fortress 2 (free to play) and hear audio,
probably the problem was solved.
