Hi, I get the same error with apt-file:
# apt-file update Warning: Illegal date format for -z/--timecond (and not a file name). Warning: Disabling time condition. See curl_getdate(3) for valid date syntax. [...] It is caused by locale settings. Here is the locale I use: # locale [EMAIL PROTECTED] LC_CTYPE="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_NUMERIC="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_TIME="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_COLLATE=C LC_MONETARY="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_MESSAGES=C LC_PAPER="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_NAME="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_ADDRESS="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_TELEPHONE="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_MEASUREMENT="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_IDENTIFICATION="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" LC_ALL= The problem can be fixed with: # export LANG=C Therefore I suggest that apt-file calls curl after resetting the LANG variable. -- Laurent Bonnaud. http://www.lis.inpg.fr/pages_perso/bonnaud/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
