Package: samba Version: 2:4.3.6+dfsg-1 Samba will not provision if the new talloc 2.1.6 is packaged and installed, due to a type mixup that is now checked for in the improved python-talloc bindings.
The patches for this are already upstream in Samba 4.4 and accepted for Samba 4.3: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11789 The error, during provision or dbcheck is: ERROR(runtime): uncaught exception - pytalloc_reference_ex() called for object type not based on talloc We need those patches, and a Breaks statement in talloc (both in my proposed packages).
