It's not a default and supported configuration though, so downgrading the severity. That said, please consider raising this issue upstream, at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=NetworkManager -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
