I had the same error. My file /home/asd/.davfs2/secrets looked like this:

    https://webdav.yandex.ru <elided> "<elided>"

When I removed double quotes:

    https://webdav.yandex.ru <elided> <elided>

WebDAV share mounted withoud errors.
