- window manager is Gnome 2.10 (up to date packages from testing) - it happens when firefox is closed - it happens when i launch skippy after everything else is open, and if I launch skippy first. - i do see the windows flip in the taskbar, but here's a clue:
only windows open in the application that currently has the focus come to the foreground when the shots of each window are being taken, e.g. different evolution windows / different nautilus windows. While the focus appears to go to other apps in the taskbar, the windows are not coming to the front on the screen.
