backlog_lines = 10; # number of lines in backlog, 0 means no limit With this, if you stay offline for long enough, but still not that long, you will not get all the messages replayed when you reconnect. Although this is not data loss per se, because the messages are still in the server logs, it is a severe problem in the usability of the package.
