As recently announce by Joerg [1], the checksums will no longer be generated in MD5 and SHA1, only SHA256. Furthermore, InRelease and Release will no longer be provided as gzip-compressed files but as xz-compressed files only. This change has already been implemented in the archive with the result that mirroring the experimental suite is no longer possible using debmirror.
