notfound 817923 2.1.6-1 found 817923 2.1.5-2 kthxbye Hmmm... By killing or skipping the "update-binfmts" invocations, I was finally able to update my system. Part of this update brought in the 2.1.6-1 release of binfmt-support. It now works correctly.
I leave this bug open as it might still bite somebody else, but AFAICT it can be closed if you so see fit. I am no longer able to reproduce it in my system. Thanks!
