This is because dbus.version incorrectly changed type from list
to tuple while I was improving the build system. I'll fix that and do
another release.
The workaround would be for pamusb-agent to stop supporting
dbus-python < 0.41, which is over a decade old:

- import dbus.glib
+import dbus.glib
