Package: wget Version: 1.10.2-1 Severity: normal
There is no means to tell wget to retry when it gets a 503 response code. Since many proxies use 503 for proxy errors and 503 is officially a non-fatal error, it should be treated as such. Currently, all downloads are aborted by wget immediately after 503s and there is no option availble to change that. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (700, 'unstable'), (110, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.14-b Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages wget depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8a-3 SSL shared libraries wget recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
