Can the libusb-1.0 library from http://libusb.info/ be used at all on kfreebsd? I think I could add a patch to make the call to libusb_set_auto_detach_kernel_driver() conditional at compile time, but I'd like to know more about the libusb2 used on kfreebsd first and if it's a strict requirement.
