Thanks for the info! Another question: Is this only occurring for your email program? Or for all windows? In particular, I'm wondering if "FullMaximize" is set to "YES" in ~/GNUstep/Defaults/WMWindowAttributes. That will cause the behavior you describe as well. Thanks again! Doug
