Package: maxima
Version: 5.37.3-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I cannot seem to view the documentation for any function. This seems to
be a repeat of bug #788430 (the files are in /usr/share/info rather than
/usr/share/doc/maxima/info).

As in that bug, a workaround is to copy the files from "share/info" to
"share/doc".

Sample session to illustrate the bug:

$ maxima

Maxima 5.37.3 http://maxima.sourceforge.net

Maxima encountered a Lisp error:

 Condition in MACSYMA-TOP-LEVEL [or a callee]: INTERNAL-SIMPLE-ERROR:
Cannot open the file /usr/share/doc/maxima/info/./maxima.info-1.
