Package: xul-ext-sieve Version: 0.2.3d-2 Severity: important Tags: upstream
All attempts to connect to a ManageSieve server stall with the following message in the error console: > 'Method not implemented' when calling method: [nsIProtocolHandler::newChannel] I believe this to be a regression, as I remember this used to work. Perhaps it was broken by recent Icedove security updates? It goes away if I install 0.2.3h from upstream. Probably this upstream bug: https://github.com/thsmi/sieve/issues/42 Would like to see this backported to jessie. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages xul-ext-sieve depends on: ii icedove 38.4.0-1~deb8u1 ii libjs-jquery 1.7.2+dfsg-3.2 xul-ext-sieve recommends no packages. xul-ext-sieve suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
