Package: loop-aes-utils Version: 2.12r-1 Severity: normal On my system (using udev, kernel 2.6.12-1-k7) only /dev/loop/0 is created automatically. This causes mount -o loop to fail after one loop device is in use, even though the loop module supports eight. loop-aes-utils should ensure that all N devices are created, up to the kernel limit, when the module is loaded, or at udev initialization.
