Bug#792880: openvpn does not start

Hi,

I'm having this same problem in Debian 8.2. with openvpn 2.3.4-5.

As the original reporter starting openvpn with
  # _SYSTEMCTL_SKIP_REDIRECT=1 /etc/init.d/openvpn start
works.
