Hello, I did some more test: 1) In a clean sid chroot /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/django/conf/project_template is a symlink to /usr/share/python-django-common/django/conf/project_template
2) But upgrading form previous versions of django (1.8 was my real case, but I could reproduce with 1.7 from jessie) /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/django/conf/project_template just remain an empty directory and django-admin does not look in /usr/share/python-django-common/django/conf/project_template.
