The installs were virtually identical, except for whatever packages Debian may have chosen to install due to the hardware differences. I only installed very few packages myself, such as VirtualBox, before I rebooted to use autologin. I did this on both the laptop and one desktop. The other desktop had a base setup only and still failed with XFCE and LightDM.
