A user just reminded me that this issue is still outstanding. I will search my emails archives to refresh my memory on using GPIOs to detect the system.
I'll also send another email to QNAP to see if they have a good idea how to solve this issue. Finally, I remembered that the filesystem on (I believe) mtdblock5 contains a config file with the QNAP model, so if everything else fails, we should be able to use that. -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/
