Hi, thanks for the patch. I tried to prepare a new upstream version (2.0.0) for upload, but it is deadlocked (like other packages) in the impossible transition to VTK6+Qt5 without a version of QWT for Qt5 being available.
So instead of an upstream update, the next upload will be a patched 1.8.8. Thanks, Michael
