I'm currently very short of spare time, and have been leaving this until
things were less busy - I don't really understand all the details of
multiarch, so trying to fix any breakage caused would likely eat a lot
of time I just don't currently have (I speak from experience of having
to fix up the broken multiarchification of wxwidgets).
If you want to NMU and are happy to take care of any fallout, please
go ahead.
