I'm packaging this because although the output is static, the resulting galleries are quite dynamic, and different from other web album software like album, bins, llgal, et cetera. The output is also quite pleasing visually, without requiring any configuration of HTML and/or CSS templates, and also allows keyboard navigation of a gallery. Optionally, fgallery can make use of face detection software (facedetect, which I might package separately later), to ensure images with faces in them have their thumbnails centered on those faces.
