The latest version of qpdf includes an soname bump. The qpdf transition is very small. The only other source package with a dependency on libqpdf is cups-filters. qpdf 6.0.0 with libqpdf17 has already passed the NEW and is waiting in experimental. As soon as I get the green light, I can upload to unstable and a rebuild of cups-filters can be triggered. This is completely source compatible with the pervious versions.
