I tried to install chromium 47 from experimental, but I found out that it completely breaks the GPU accelleration. This might have something to do with this entry in the Debian ChangeLog: * Enable accelerated video decoding (closes: #793815). I noticed the issue because chromium got very slow. In chrome://gpu the Graphics Feature Status flags are all bad (see attachment), while they're fine in chromium 46.
