Thanks Andreas, I am also the upstream author, I'll apply your patch
ASAP (most likely in the week-end), I'll also set you as the author in
the git history.

BTW, AFAIK patches generated with "git format-patch" are considered
acceptable for the debian/patch/ dir; they are a little easier to
integrate upstream with proper authorship if the upstream uses git, just
saying.
