Package: redis-server Version: 2:3.0.4-6 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
after one of the latest updates for redis-server the unix socket configured in redis.conf is not found anymore at the specified path. Instead a folder like: /tmp/systemd-private-7bef6990f0be4054879de6df5772fc02-redis-server.service-IZieHa/tmp/ is created and the socket file is placed there. This is an unexpected behavior and leads to confusion if you specify a: unixsocket /tmp/redis.sock and the file is ending up in a completely different location. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages redis-server depends on: ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii init-system-helpers 1.23 ii libc6 2.19-22 ii libjemalloc1 3.6.0-3 ii redis-tools 2:3.0.4-6 redis-server recommends no packages. redis-server suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/redis/redis.conf changed: daemonize yes pidfile /var/run/redis/redis-server.pid port 0 tcp-backlog 511 bind 127.0.0.1 unixsocket /tmp/redis.sock unixsocketperm 770 timeout 0 tcp-keepalive 0 loglevel notice logfile /var/log/redis/redis-server.log databases 16 save 900 1 save 300 10 save 60 10000 stop-writes-on-bgsave-error yes rdbcompression yes rdbchecksum yes dbfilename dump.rdb dir /var/lib/redis slave-serve-stale-data yes slave-read-only yes repl-diskless-sync no repl-diskless-sync-delay 5 repl-disable-tcp-nodelay no slave-priority 100 appendonly no appendfilename "appendonly.aof" appendfsync everysec no-appendfsync-on-rewrite no auto-aof-rewrite-percentage 100 auto-aof-rewrite-min-size 64mb aof-load-truncated yes lua-time-limit 5000 slowlog-log-slower-than 10000 slowlog-max-len 128 latency-monitor-threshold 0 notify-keyspace-events "" hash-max-ziplist-entries 512 hash-max-ziplist-value 64 list-max-ziplist-entries 512 list-max-ziplist-value 64 set-max-intset-entries 512 zset-max-ziplist-entries 128 zset-max-ziplist-value 64 hll-sparse-max-bytes 3000 activerehashing yes client-output-buffer-limit normal 0 0 0 client-output-buffer-limit slave 256mb 64mb 60 client-output-buffer-limit pubsub 32mb 8mb 60 hz 10 aof-rewrite-incremental-fsync yes -- no debconf information
