I'm not exactly sure the patch is even necessary. A simple rebuild of the package in sid (against MySQL 5.6) fixed it for me as well. But it does not hurt either. Unfortunately Asterisk now dies a few seconds later asterisk: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/odbc/libmyodbc.so: undefined symbol: test There is another upstream but for that at https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=71595 but it looks like it will never be fixed in the 5.1 branch of myODBC. Steve, is an upgrade to myODBC 5.2 on the radar somewhere? Bernhard
