Hi Luk,

Thanks for taking the time to look at this, however, a *much* simpler
patch would be to update the Build-Dep line to 'automake1.8' as this is
what upstream is using.

Then no regeneration is required at all.

I already have a package ready to upload that addresses this and I'll
upload it later today (probably tomorrow from your perspective).
