Package: android-tools-adb Version: 4.2.2+git20130529-5.1 Severity: important
Dear Maintainer, `adb devices` lists nothing with a Cubot X12 Android device connected via USB. I suspect other new devices are also not recognized by adb 1.0.31. I have re-packaged android-tools against upstream version android-5.1.1_r13, which includes adb version 1.0.32. With this new pkg installed, my device is first listed as 'unauthorized' by adb, and once I accept the confirm dialog on the device to allow USB debugging, it is listed as 'device' and I can `adb shell` to it. I will contact the maintainers to see if an NMU is required. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages android-tools-adb depends on: ii libc6 2.19-19 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.2d-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 android-tools-adb recommends no packages. android-tools-adb suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
