Alright, I've upgraded to
aspell-ca 0.4-6
aspell 0.60.4-1

It doesn't, I'm afraid. I've noticed no improvement from
earlier versions. This is a simple test with a short snippet
of text:
$ aspell list < prova.txt
Això
S'ha
l'hora
corregir-les
D'uns
l'un
l'altre
d'accés
així
construir-hi
Funny enough, "il·luminats" (which is included in the text)
doesn't show up, so it looks like I have no problem with
middle dot words.
