Source: mini-buildd
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

it would be extremely helpful in debugging if it were possible to
create a build chroot manually, so that one can schroot --run-session
into it and issue shell commands in there.

That command would be available on a builder and go through the same
motions as a build daemon prior to starting the build (including the
actions that are usually done by sbuild as pre-build-commands. There
would also have to be a command to clean up afterwards.

If mini-buildd does nothing other than calling sbuild, this bug should
probably be reassigned to sbuild.

Greetings
Marc
