Hello, Search in Synaptic Package Manager is not working as expected when the descriptions contain Latin diacritics (accents). Synaptic Package Manager seems unable to tell that "é" is just a lower-case variant of "É". For example, the description of gparted in French is "Éditeur de partition". If one searches "Éditeur de partition", gparted appears.
