Package: tt-rss Version: 1.13+dfsg-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Since I upgraded to Debian 8, the tt-rss daemon no longer starts on boot. It appears that when it attempts to start, MySQL is not ready. However, I can start it manually. I can see these errors from systemd: -- Logs begin at Sat 2015-08-08 10:15:18 PDT, end at Sat 2015-08-08 10:56:52 PDT. -- Aug 08 10:16:33 tardis update.php[1766]: PHP Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in /usr/share/tt-rss/www/classes/db/mysqli.php on line 9 Aug 08 10:48:22 tardis update.php[24771]: PHP Fatal error: Query INSERT INTO ttrss_error_log Aug 08 10:48:22 tardis update.php[24771]: (errno, errstr, filename, lineno, context, owner_uid, created_at) VALUES Aug 08 10:48:22 tardis update.php[24771]: (256, 'Query SELECT DISTINCT ttrss_feeds.feed_url, ttrss_feeds.last_updated\n FROM\n ttrss_feeds, ttrss_users, ttrss_user_prefs\n WHERE\n ttrss_feeds.owner_uid = ttrss_users.id\n AND ttrss_user_prefs.profile IS NULL\n AND ttrss_users.id = ttrss_user_prefs.owner_uid\n AND ttrss_user_prefs.pref_name = \'DEFAULT_UPDATE_INTERVAL\'\n AND ttrss_users.last_login >= DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 30 DAY) AND ((\n ttrss_feeds.update_interval = 0\n AND ttrss_user_prefs.value != \'-1\'\n AND ttrss_feeds.last_updated < DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL CONVERT(ttrss_user_prefs.value, SIGNED INTEGER) MINUTE)\n ) OR (\n ttrss_feeds.update_interval > 0\n AND ttrss_feeds.last_updated < DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL ttrss_feeds.update_interval MINUTE)\n ) OR (ttrss_feeds.last_updated IS NULL\n AND ttrss_user_prefs.value != \'-1\')\n OR (last_updated = \'1970-01-01 00:00:00\'\n in /usr/share/tt-rss/www/classes/db/mysqli.php on line 33 ... -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (700, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages tt-rss depends on: ii dbconfig-common 1.8.47+nmu3 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.56 ii init-system-helpers 1.22 ii libapache2-mod-php5 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii libjs-dojo-core 1.10.2+dfsg-1 ii libjs-dojo-dijit 1.10.2+dfsg-1 ii libjs-scriptaculous 1.9.0-2 ii libphp-phpmailer 5.2.9+dfsg-2 ii php-gettext 1.0.11-1 ii php5 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii php5-cli 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii php5-json 1.3.6-1 ii php5-mysql 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii php5-pgsql 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii phpqrcode 1.1.4-1 Versions of packages tt-rss recommends: ii apache2 [httpd] 2.4.10-10 ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.4.10-10 ii php5-gd 5.6.7+dfsg-1 ii php5-mcrypt 5.6.7+dfsg-1 Versions of packages tt-rss suggests: ii mysql-client 5.5.42-1 ii mysql-client-5.5 [mysql-client] 5.5.42-1 ii mysql-server 5.5.42-1 pn php-apc <none> ii postgresql-client-8.4 [postgresql-client] 8.4.8-0squeeze2 ii postgresql-client-9.1 [postgresql-client] 9.1.14-0+deb7u1 pn sphinxsearch <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/default/tt-rss changed: DISABLED=0 FORKING=0 /etc/tt-rss/config.php changed: <?php // ******************************************* // *** Database configuration (important!) *** // ******************************************* include_once('/etc/tt-rss/database.php'); define('DB_TYPE', $dbtype); define('DB_HOST', $dbserver); define('DB_PORT', $dbport); define('DB_USER', $dbuser); define('DB_NAME', $dbname); define('DB_PASS', $dbpass); define('MYSQL_CHARSET', 'UTF8'); // Connection charset for MySQL.
