Package: isc-dhcp-client Version: 4.3.2-1 Severity: wishlist There are two debug hook scripts
/etc/dhcp/dhclient-enter-hooks.d/debug /etc/dhcp/dhclient-exit-hooks.d/debug which have the same contents. For debugging, I suppose that in general, the user would want to change them in the same way, e.g. setting RUN to yes on both, and possibly other changes. So, I think that it would be better to replace these scripts by symbolic links to a same script, e.g. /etc/dhcp/debug. Note: It would still be possible to have different code for the enter and exit hooks by testing $1 (this could be mentioned as a comment). -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages isc-dhcp-client depends on: ii debianutils 4.5.1 ii iproute2 4.0.0-1 ii isc-dhcp-common 4.3.2-1 ii libc6 2.19-19 ii libdns-export100 1:9.9.5.dfsg-11 ii libirs-export91 1:9.9.5.dfsg-11 ii libisc-export95 1:9.9.5.dfsg-11 isc-dhcp-client recommends no packages.
