to test reportbug, use the --debug cli switch, which will send the
mail to you instead of the bts
$ man reportbug | grep -A1 -- --debug
-d, --debug
Don't send a real bug report to Debian; send it to
yourself instead. This is primarily used for testing by the
maintainer.
