No package depends on libasprintf0c2 so this is not a "transition" in the strict sense. I hope the FTP managers process this package soon. Note: In addition to the Breaks field, there is another little thing which I did differently from the proposed patch: gettext-base had a versioned Depends: libasprintf0c2 (>= 0.18.1.1-6). This is because gettext-base used to contain this library and it was splitted out from gettext-base in version 0.18.1.1-6. Now gettext-base just Depends on the new library. There have never been a libasprintf0v5 package < 0.18.1.1-6 so the versioned depends would be redundant here.
