What is the results of running:
perl debian/kernel-version /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.14
22:58:02> [root{whitespace}@/usr/src/modules/openafs]
#perl debian/kernel-version /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.14
2.6.14
in the openafs module build tree? Somehow, the various things that you're
telling OpenAFS about what version of kernel you have are inconsistent.
Also, does /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.14/debian/changelog exist? If so,
what's its first line?
There is no debian subdirectory in the kernel source tree. I also found
that the same behavior results if I symlink /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.14
to /usr/src/linux and run `make kdist_image` (that is, without
explicitely passing the kernel location or source version)
