Dear Maintainer, I am migrating many websites from debian squeeze to debian jessie, so from php 5.3.3 to php 5.6.9. As there were many changes in php between these two releases, many of my web pages doesn't work. To resolve all these problems, I'd like to see what error prevent my pages to work. But it seems impossible to see or to log the errors. I have modified error_reporting to E_ALL, display_errors, display_startup_errors and log_errors to On and added error_log = /var/log/apache2/php_errors.log in php.ini. I have added params in my apache virtual sites configuration : php_value display_errors 1 php_value display_startup_errors 1 php_admin_value error_reporting E_ALL php_admin_flag display_startup_errors on php_admin_flag display_errors on php_flag display_startup_errors on php_flag display_errors on php_flag log_errors on php_value error_log /var/log/apache/php_errors.log I have done the same in an .htaccess file I have checked that my logfile was writable by www-data, I have created a page with only to check that my parameters were effective and they were I added on this page just after a fake function : fake_func($_SERVER); but there wasn't any error like Function fake_func() does not exist after the phpinfo arrays I added an error in my function by removing a bracket : fake_func($_SERVER; And I got a blank page Whatever I do I never see any error on the screen and there isn't anything in my log file.
